Parent Coordinator

Hi!

My name is Margaret Sheri and I am PS102's Parent Coordinator.  This picture of me was taken at the exact moment I saw a whale in person for the first time... about an hour's boat ride from Rockaway Beach!   I enjoy biking, reading good books, gardening and getting outside to experience the wonders of nature with my family, PS 102 students and parents. 

In my position as PC,  I get to lead an Adult ESL Conversation Group on Tuesday mornings from 9:05-10:30am in our auditorium; coordinate and implement programming for our school garden, Nature's Classroom@PS 102, for classes during the day and families after school;  work closely with the PTA, Title I PAC, School Wellness Council and school staff on all kinds of Parent and Family workshops and events; give monthly tours to prospective parents, send the weekly school wide messages and update this website.
